Paramount Home Entertainment Opens Digital Purchase Window for Star Trek: Starfleet Academy Season 1

Paramount Home Entertainment (PHE) announced on June 15 that the first season of the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy will be available for digital purchase. The 10‑episode season, which premiered on the streaming service on January 15, 2026, can now be bought on a variety of digital platforms, including iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Video.

The move follows the series’ launch on Paramount+ and provides fans of the long‑running franchise with a way to own the complete first season. The digital release includes over an hour of bonus content: the featurettes First Year and Mario Magic: Props, a gag reel, and three deleted scenes.

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is the 12th television series in the Star Trek franchise and the first to be set in the 32nd century, a time period first explored in the later seasons of Star Trek: Discovery.
