Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger took their kids out to lunch with Katherine’s mom, Maria Shriver, and sister Christina. Katherine held on to baby Lyla while Chris held hands with his son, Jack. If you ask me, Katherine was using Lyla as a shield to strategically cover an emerging baby bump.

If Lyla is expecting a sibling it would be the second child for Schwarzenegger and the third for Pratt. Pratt recently caused a social media controversy when he thanked Schwarzenegger for giving him a healthy baby. Some took it as an oblique reference to the health problems faced by Pratt’s son Jack with Anna Faris. However, what I found most obnoxious is Pratt’s bragging about how in love Schwarzenegger is with him, with his comments accompanied by a picture in which she looks at him worshipfully. However much a boon to his ego her adoration is, it is unbecoming to boast about it. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger has better sense than to do that and he was never known for his modesty.

Jack Pratt is shown above, with his father. He was born 9 weeks early and suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. He spent a month in neonatal intensive care. However, Jack emerged from the medical emergency without any cognitive or developmental difficulties. He does have lingering impairment of vision and muscle weakness, but overall he and his family were lucky that he was able to enjoy such a complete recovery.
