Tanya Fear, the British actress who is perhaps best known for her role as Dr. Jade McIntyre on Doctor Who has been missing since Thursday. She was born as Tanyaradzwa Fear

She had been in Southern California performing stand up comedy for the last two months. Here she is at the HaHa comedy club from less than two weeks ago.

Her manager, Alex Cole, said he spoke to her the week before and she seemed ok. He was surprised to learn she was missing, but a police report was made on September 9, 2021, a Los Angeles Police department spokesperson confirmed.

Since the police often avoid taking police reports for adults who they say “have the right to disappear,” it’s possible that Fear went missing prior to September 9, 2021, but that she could not be officially reported earlier.

Most recently, she was in Shoot Your Shot shorts, which she directed, wrote and produced. The shorts acknowledged the pandemic and was branded as a social distancing rom com on Youtube. Go big, Stay Home. Her career sidelined by Covid, she said in the youtube video that “as an out of work actor, I’m pretty used to days filled with nothing.” And seemed to be managing to stay up beat despite the restrictions.
